When I buy in store starting November 7, 2024, do I need to pay Php 2 per bag?

Yes, the Php 2 fee is applicable to all MUJI shopping bags. Customers who will opt to use their own reusable shopping bag or refuse to get a MUJI shopping bag will not be charged.

If I buy in the Coffee Counter/ Cafe area and order takeout, will I be charged Php 2 per paper bag?

Yes, you will be charged Php 2 per MUJI shopping bag if you will be requesting one. You may also use your own reusable bag if you prefer to not request and be charged for a MUJI paper bag.

I am a MUJI member, may I get the MUJI shopping bag for free?

Is it okay if I don’t get a shopping bag if I don’t want to pay Php 2 per bag?

Yes, customers are allowed to not get a MUJI shopping bag and are encouraged to use their own bags instead.

Why are you suddenly charging for MUJI shopping bags when you gave it for free before?

Our objective is to help reduce waste/single use shopping bags and protect the environment. We are hoping for our customers' support and kind understanding in our new way of taking care of the environment.

Do you have different sizes of MUJI shopping bags? If yes, will it be standard Php 2 per bag or do you have different rates per size?

All MUJI shopping bag sizes will have a standard Php 2 fee. Cashiers will also determine the appropriate quantity, MUJI paper bag size, and packaging for every transaction or item purchased to ensure all the customer’s purchased items are safe. If a customer requests for an additional MUJI shopping bag, this is still subject to approval of the store manager.

May I get the MUJI eco bag instead of a MUJI shopping bag since it's free of charge?

MUJI eco bags are not for sale and will not have a Php 2 fee. However, it is only used for big items such as luggages, pillows, PP boxes and alike. Please see table below for easier reference:

Since I paid for the MUJI shopping bag, can I return the MUJI shopping bag and get a refund?

We will not refund used or unused MUJI shopping bags.

May I purchase MUJI shopping bags in bulk? Or is there a limit on how many MUJI shopping bags I can buy with my purchase?

Our MUJI shopping bags are not for sale. We will provide enough MUJI shopping bags that will be able to carry your purchased items safely. For jute bags, we will still implement our existing MUJI shopping bag limitation which is 2 MUJI shopping bags (Php 2 each) for every 5 jute bag purchases.
And, the packaging for small items (pens, mini notebooks, PET bottles and alike) will still be the kraft envelopes.

If 3 T-shirts were purchased, a customer is entitled to a maximum of 3 MUJI shopping bags only

If there are are 2 items purchases, customers are not entitled to get 2 MUJI shopping bags

For corporate order, may I purchase MUJI shopping bags for each item or set of items?

All corporate orders/bulk orders are packed in boxes only. But our customers may request or inquire for MUJI shopping bags which is still subject for approval. Feel free to contact our team if you have any questions and clarifications so that we can assist you accordingly

If I order online and have it delivered to my location, do I need to pay Php 2 per MUJI shopping bag used for my order?

No, you don’t need to pay. We will not charge the packaging for online orders that will be delivered via our courier service. But we will still follow our packing guidelines on the table above for same day delivery orders and use our couriers’ packaging for regular online orders.

The customer will only be charged the Php 2 fee if he/she will request for an additional MUJI shopping bag on top of the usual packaging enough for their orders.

If I order online and pick-up the item at the store, do I need to pay the Php 2 fee per MUJI shopping bag?

Yes, you will need to pay. Customers who ordered online and chose to pick-up the item in the store will be charged Php 2 per MUJI shopping bag. We encourage our customers to bring their own reusable bag..

For online pick-up order, may I choose to not avail the MUJI shopping bag and use my MUJI Member per of 2% discount instead?

Yes. MUJI Members can use their 2% discount when they do not request for a MUJI shopping bag. This MUJI Membership perk is only applicable to customers who will pick-up orders in the store.

Can I purchase MUJI shopping bags only?

No, we do not sell our MUJI shopping bags. You will only be entitled to MUJI shopping bags with your purchased item.

If I forgot to purchase/request for a MUJI shopping bag on my purchase, can I go back to request/purchase a MUJI shopping bag?

Yes, customers may go back to the store and request for a MUJI shopping bag within the 7 days from the date of purchase. Customers need to bring a receipt as proof of purchase.
For example:
A customer purchased the items on Nov. 7. He/she may go back to the store any time from Nov. 7 - 13 only. If the customer goes back on Nov. 14, he/she is no longer entitled to a MUJI shopping bag

For return and exchanged items, am I entitled to a free MUJI shopping bag? Or refund my purchased MUJI shopping bag?

We will not issue a MUJI shopping bag for return and exchanged items. Instead, we encourage our customers to bring their own reusable bag.

Purchased or used MUJI shopping bags are also non refundable.
